The bridal party gathered beforehand in the council chamber to have photos and prepare for the ceremony.

Due to traffic and road closures for the rugby the Groom and Groomsmen were late to arrive but the couple didn’t let this dampen their spirits.

Gold Cheltenham chairs were laid out to create an aisle, highlighting Laura’s simple dress and gold hairpiece as the perfect compliments to the Art Deco features of the building as she walked between the guests.

The 80 guests were served Prosecco and Welsh cakes to celebrate Laura and Matt’s union whilst the chairs were cleared away and the couple had their gorgeous photos taken in the hall by Chris Denner from Your Perfect Wedding Day. They used the marble pillars as a back drop for impressive photos that stand out.

The couple then left the building to cheers of celebration and rose petal confetti surrounding them.

Then it was time for the group photos!

"The day was wonderful and the ceremony at the Temple was beyond words. I should like to say a huge thank you to the caretaker, Ian. He was so helpful both before the ceremony, and in the days afterwards when I called to collect some things that had been left. We had a couple of hiccoughs along the way, (caused by the closure of roads around the rugby stadium), but this all contributed to making the day memorable.

Would you please pass on Laura, Matthew's and my thanks to the young man who looked after the bar and to Ian - who helped to make the day very special." – Jennifer Humphreys (Mother of the Bride)
